Some keys stop working from nowhere. Please help!

Magic keyboard 2

Guys, some of the keys from my magic keyboard 2 just stop working from nowhere. No liquid splash or anything. I have a little more than a year with this so no garante here.

Last month it happens with the delete key so i calle the apple guys, they just suggest to connect the keyboard with lighting cable and the problem disappear. I try this but it doesn't solve anything.

I have update my iMac to high sierra, nothing

I try to pair with my macbook air, still nothing

what can i do? i don't think is a hardware problem because i reeeaaaaaally take care of my computer, i don't have a lot of money to buy a new one every two years and i work with this

will be amazing if you can help me

iMac A1418 / Big Sur/-----I have six keys not responding,

F10, F11, 0, -, \ and ENTER (CRLF)

any advance on problem?

I'm having the exactly same problem with @coopernewlyn. My keyboard is A1644 model.

same problem, 4 keys do not respond, y+u+i+o

teared them apart and cleaned, no success

until repair either replace, i use screen keyboard

Check the battery charge on it, here's how:

You can check your device's charge level by choosing its name from the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

When it's time to charge your device's battery, connect a Lightning to USB cable to its Lightning port, then connect the other end of the cable to your Mac or a USB power adapter.

For the fastest battery charging performance, be sure your device is switched on when connecting the Lightning to USB cable.

UPDATE 10/22/17 High Sierra

It appears many people are having problems with their Bluetooth devices since updating to High Sierra. Yup, not working, i already connect the device many times to test and the charge is about 80% right now but still not working.

Same problems, bought a 2015 21.5" iMac, the keyboard was the original. Randomly the number keys will not work, or just spit out weird characters, sometimes they will alter the sound. Did a full reinstall, worked ok for 10 hours, now back to the same problems, I'm wondering if its High Seirra ???

2015 iMac will run Catalina.

Now running same keyboard on 2017 iMac no problem.

In High Sierra I used my wired kb that came with the machine, still works today!!
