I use 3M 1mm to 5mm red double sided tape like this roll of 2mm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OZG...

The red double sided tape works great. BUT DONT FORGET TO PUT 3 LAYERS OF ADHESIVE!! I have done this repair many times and every time the lcd failed if i didn't triple the double sided tape. As you notice the stock adhesive is extremely thick almost like a foam. to replace properly i recommend the 3 separate layers
