I had some water splash on the phone when we went to a river. Not its not turning on. Any troubleshooting steps of how to fix or any advice to do any hardware fix to bring it on?

Edit (@alexniculescu) : Take out your battery and place it and the phone near a window or in a well ventilated, where they can air dry properly
The original OP suggested the following: Battery fully submerged in dry rice for 24 hours and you will be good to go. The same happened to mine, and, my daughter told me about the rice. - Rice does not do anything, it's just a urban myth.
