Blender will start then quit immediately with a? What is wrong?
Blender has a rattle in the base, like a loose piece,
Have not been able to use for months. Total in use less than a year.

Try removing the bottom cover. Sometimes the cooling fan blade comes loose and the blender will overheat and shut down (and might display "overload" on the screen). The loose blade, washer and screw might be what's rattling inside!
