my phone is in recovery mode and i cant restore nor upgrade my device is that a problem from the baseband and if yes how can i fix it?

Typically if your iPhone is stuck in recovery mode, this automatically means you have to kiss goodbye your current iPhone data and settings. The general method of recovery for an iPhone stuck in recovery mode is an iTunes restore – great if you have recently performed an iTunes backup, tragic if you have not. Can you post back a little more information? What happened that it went into recovery mode? was it dropped, water damage, etc... and what error is Itunes giving you when you try to restore it?
