Can I glue back the original digitizer of my Galaxy S3?

I'm venturing into the crazy idea of replacing my Galaxy S3 frame with a newer one, something which wasn't really necessary.

Yesterday I unglued the digitizer, and I saw the way it is glued to the "core screen" and the frame. Since the digitizer is still perfectly OK, can I glue it again on the newer frame? Do I need to buy a special glue for this operation, or am I better off purchasing a completely new digitizer? That is, how can I reuse this old digitizer, if possible?

It's doable with Loca Liquid glue which you put between the glass and the LCD. There are videos on how to do this on YouTube.

Thank you for the answer. With that I can continue to use my old digitizer, as long as I remove the old glue from both the screen layers, right?

Old digitizer? Digitizer means touch screen and the touch screen is fused with the LCD.

The glass is just a piece of glass.

Yes you can actually use the screen without a piece of glass. If you are going to put a new glass on, make sure to remove the glue.

I did a research before this post on that term and it seemed that "digitizer" referred to the piece at the far right in my photo. Isn't it so?

Well it isn't because digitizer refers to touch screen layer which would traditionally be fused with the glass.

But with these Samsung screens the touch screen layer is fused with the Samsung LCD display instead.

The glass you see on the right has no ribbon cable coming out of it indicating it is not a digitizer.

Thank you for the answer. Can it be called "front glass", or does it have a name at all, in the widespread jargon?
