How to repair etch a sketch
This is an etch a sketch from the 80's. White knobs turn, but there is no drawing. Can I fix it?

An Etch-A-Sketch is a simple machine where the knobs end up moving a string from side to side and another from top to bottom. If the strings stretch or for any reason slip, you will get the behavior that you describe. Other than opening up the unit and replacing the string, there is not much that can be done.

Mine just will not draw idk what is wrong with it if some one can pls help me that would be nice it is something I use to help with stress and paying attention and dont really wanna buy a new one if you can help me that would be amazing
