How can I uninstall/delete "boost" icon off my phone?

I have an alcatel one touch 5027b and a boost icon keeps popping up on my home-screen. i set my phone up by setting up my gmail and started downloading some apps I enjoy. About a couple hours later, this application(I'm assuming its an application or a virus) named BOOST, its icon popped up on my home screen. Now something called featured apps is on my home screen too. I mean its some type of virus. It regenerates itself if I factory reset the phone. So does anyone know anything about this boost virus? Is there anyone that knows how to disable this boost virus. Also, boost is not under "applications" in the setting. Thanks.

Go into apps ... Force stop. Then go into play store and disable it. I did it. Works great. No problem. Its not a virus. Its an update by Alcatel. Its horrible with ads.

옵션

Go to Settings --> Apps

Look for anything that is Boost related.

Select the App, and select "Force Stop" and "Uninstall".

If Uninstall is not there, see if there is a "Disable".

My phone had this ‘boost’ app thing. I’ve turned it off - and now it’s stuck on the Alcatel home screen - and it won’t do anything else!! Help!!

I added this app to clean and speed up my phone, after an hour of working with it wants to keep doing the processes over and over..so I uninstalled..its still there and driving me crazy with task I've already done.

How do I get it off my phone?
