Was on for 10 minutes then went blank and no sound. Cables and cords good, Remote won't do anything with TV have to turn on manually and unplug from elect. to turn off. No power surges, New batteries in remote. I don't know what to check now!

Have you tried unplugging the power cord at the tv end?
I know it sounds strange, but I had an RCA tv that wasn't working, and for some reason I unplugged the tv end and plugged it back in. It worked great after that. Occasionally I would have to unplug and plug in that end to get it to work. Used it for almost three years before it died totally.

Ah man, believe me, I tried that and tried that. I did absolutely nothing to fix it. I appreciate you giving me something to try, even tho I already tried that. If you think of anything else, let me know. Thank You
Did you try a different cord?
Other than that, I would say you'd have to check on the inside for loose connections, broken wires and stuff.
You may be able to buy parts online, but you may be better off getting a new one.
