Display screen not fully operative

I recently replaced the glass screen on my iPad Mini2 per the guide and when I turn it on the display looks like this:

Do I need to replace the LCD now?

Yeah most likely. Try reconnecting the lcd ribbon and also making making sure that the connector pins are intact. If that doesn’t fix it then probably you need a new one. I had this problem with my iPad mini 2 as well and i ended up replacing my lcd.

Thanks! Replacing the LCD was the answer. I must have damaged it when I was replacing the cracked screen in the first go round.
