Why can't phone pick up weak (1) signal has it has in past?

Recent battery change. Now phone cannot pick up weak signal

in my house. No problem before battery change.

I recommend you see your carrier if you haven't.

They have tools for network related issues, before determining it's your phone. If it's in a specific territory, then they should be able to send someone out there to do a field test.
