Can I replace the E mount ring on a Sony Lens?

I have a Sony 70-200 FE 4 that has a very worn lens ring. Can I replace the E mount ring on a Sony Lens? It appears that the electronic contacts aren't a part of the ring itself so I've got hope this is a user replaceable option.
