My tablet will not charge

Actually my RCA Tablet model # is RCT6873W42 , haven't charged in a long time, it keeps trying to turn on will not take a charge. Tried to turn off but it keeps trying to turn on. Wasting any charge it may be getting

Hi! Sounds like the charging port may be damaged, either by coming off the motherboard inside the tablet or damaged inside the port itself where you plug your charger in. If you can solder it is a DIY project. If not, you may need to get it repaired by a pro.
