So why would you say as a repair tech , that his problem could only be solved by replacing the most expensive part , , when he clearly states that it worksmost of time and then quits while typing , mesning theres not a thing wrong with the phone except that it needs a new glass lens \ screen face

Not what is underit that makes the phone operate ! Come on now its still an expensive fix , take them as you get them no need to get over on people good honest 100% truthful business practices and consulting , always end up making more money , than , second hand off the hip guessing , or misinformation ,

For this is what makes a customer not only leave and never return , but tell his friends , all about how , some know it all doofus repair tech.(allegedly) claims my phone needs a new battery , when obviously. Its the fact ive never charged it, on a wall plug , only tried , holding a magnet over the top of it while i heat it in the sun with my magnifying glass,

Idk , why its not having power in battery after that , i mean the magnets get hot , i know becuse i can see it really goid ,

But just no battery power still ,

Well your gonna need a bigger msgnet thst only i can get you , to start with , if that doesnt work you will need o come back because your mag.glass isnt , weak enough , if its too strong , it heatz the bttery too fast and the electromsgnectic centerfuge you ste supposed to create , wont take a good grip , , so once we get that good , youll only need , a new battery ,

Extended life , and a new led chsrger ,

With a dedicated line in your home as well as your car , to use strivtly for your new , equipment , oh and ill install both of those as well ,

To Phil and anyone else who isn't a mobile repair tech < chill homie, compared to complete new screen im sure it's the cheaper option and anyone else who isn't a mobile repair tech. Depending on model and generation of device replacement of screen should have fixed any and all display issues. In recent years most if not all phones hardware and screen is 1 piece instead of battery and parts on the shell/body. Mainly due to the scarcity of raw materials used in the production of components. This way customers won't have to keep coming back to get replacements and repairs on a device which results in physical troubleshooting sending devices back and forth til the true issue is found. It's a pretty quick way to lose customers due to the complete lack of convenience as well as paying the deductible . But to answer OP's question, yes get a new screen Depending on your insurance situation it's very affordable, mines under warranty so $30 for new screen and its tacked on the bill. Pretty much get a whole new phone.
