Washer takes forever to fill with water, but doesn't over fill

@vangogh make sure that your water supply is good. Check your faucets. Then, as @scott0762 already pointed out, check the filter screens at the end of the hoses where those connect to the washer. Undo the hoses and you should have a small screen on the inside of those. If they are good then you are most likely having issues with the water fill valve of your washer. If you can give us the complete model number we can try to assist you further if needed.
