Pixel XL not turning on

If the phone is not turning on you can try a few methods to try and fix it, but because the phone is off, it is going to be more difficult than any other problem

because you are not getting any clue of what is going on. The first thing I would do, is try and see if the phone is charged, or if it will charge. If you hold down the

power button on the right side it may show a totally black screen with a battery indicator telling you are out of battery. The second thing I would try is looking for

signs of water damage. I have had the Google Pixel XL for over a year now, and I had one experience of dropping my phone in the toilet (long story) and it would not

turn on and the screen would not respond or turn on. What I did, was I dumped a bag of rice in a small container and buried the phone. It actually worked after a day or

two and it actually surprised me. My last tip is trying to reboot the phone. You can do this by holding the volume down and power buttons simultaneously; when the android recovery screen pops up, use the volume down and up to select different options. Select the "Restart bootloader" option and press the power button. If these solutions did not help you, I suggest seeing an expert at the store you got it or stop by a local repair shop.
