Can my hotspot be fixed by replacing a part?

I have an LG G4 phone. I've been told by technical support that the issue with my phone's hotspot is not a problem that I can fix with my settings or by doing a master factory reset which I have tried all of that. Do you know what part of the LG G4 phone controls the mobile hotspot? Is it a part that I can replace?
