leonovo y520 freezes and unfreezes when the ac is plugged or unplugged

my laptop freezes and it gets unfreezed when I plug in the AC adaptor.. Or when it freezes I unplug the adaptor and it gets unfreezed.

What could be the problem ? it's a very new laptop.
