PlayStation 2 SCPH 90004 USB Ports not working!

Okay so i a couple weeks ago i bought a ps2 slim 90004 1c for really cheap, i then send it to be modded with a chip, and everything works fine, except today i bought a ps2 eyetoy camera and when i connect it to my ps2 it doesnt fire the blue light on. I tried it on ps4 the light comes on also tried it on my pc it lights on. But then i connected a usb cable to charge my phone through ps2 and it doesnt give any power out. Any help please?
