central locking not working as it should

when i press the key plipper on the remote central locking only the drivers door unlocks

I have to open that door first press the unlock button on the door control then all the locks unlock

when im carrying stuff to the car i want to unlock remotely and open the tailgate first to put stuff in first then get in the drivers seat!
