Quality Grade in Analog Stick Replacement? Xbox 360 Controller

Hello Everyone. I buy a use controller in a pawn shop. It's an original Microsoft XBOX 360 Halo 3 Special Edition "Military Green" and it comes with Original Microsoft USB cable and rechargeable battery pack. I think the controller has a little bit of the millage in Call Of Duty games because the left and right analog is loose and suffering from drift. I open the controllers and clean it up with alcohol and finish by adding a little bit of WD-40 in the analog compartment. The stick still not coming back to its original place. My question is: If I replace both analog sticks by Desoldering the loose one and replace it with an Ebay analog stick, did the precision in an "example: FPS" first person shooter game will be the same has the original Microsoft analog stick? Or it will be really bad like a fake controller not precise at all and not possible to make a circle with the analog? Did somebody know if there is quality in this type of analog stick replacement? I assume the one 0.99$ on Ebay should be cheap and not last for long and might be really loose. Is it the board that make the analog precision or it's the analog ? Thank you for your help.
