Midway under the Apple logo during the update error 56 came up and from then I’ve not been able to restore the Ipad back to normal.
Same with DFU mode.
Tried loading ios 12 beta using http://www.3u.com/ tool. It loaded ok but I cannot activate the Ipad. The error says it cannot - could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached
Ipad was just ouf of warranty.

Basically it says points to maybe a dead / faulty touch ID sensor on the home button, try DFU restore with latest software (not beta).
