Macbook Air Firmware password forget,how to reset.We try to format Macos version Upgrade to Highseirra using bootable USB stuck on Firmware password ,laptop was working with El captain ,already enter 3 more wrong password it was completely locked ,before restart startup disk already choose High seirra USB,now cannot enter to normal El captain also,any solution for reset firmware password or either login to El captain os

Hmm, I know how to reset the user password but not a firmware password. Is the user password the one you forgot? Just need a little clarification here…

Well, it looks like you’re in for a trip to the Apple Store, you cannot reset it on your own… read this article for more information. Bring your receipt for the computer too as proof of purchase, as you will be declined serivce without it! Hope this helps.
