Why will my washer run for only about ten seconds then stop?

why will my washer run for only about ten seconds then stop?

My washer runs for about 10 seconds then stops. It is doing this on all cycles (agitation and spin cycle) it re-starts after about 10 minutes. Our electrical circuit breakers do not

trip and we replaced the lid switch but it did not fix the problem. Do you have any other

suggestions for troubleshooting?
