when i turn phone on it's freezing on the start up screen, displaying the sony ericsson symbol. I have tried resetting the phone but this hasn't worked. Phone does not switch off until it has ran out of battery.
I have also tried the reset button on the back of the phone but again nothing.
Anybody any ideas?

Download to your PC, Software Updater and PC Companion.
Install it and follow the steps of the settings wizard to connect it.
Charge the battery full, remove sim card and memory card, and try to reinstall the operating system.
(Repair / Fix option).
This will remove all data in your terminal and restore factory settings, be careful and do it at your own risk.
That solution should restore the system and make it works.
