My screen keeps diasappearing
after adjusting the position of the screen it will stay lit.

This sounds like a loose connection either within the lid or on the logic board.
Did you get your system wet spilling something onto the keyboard or sit the system down on a wet surface?

A Lot of the 2010s have screen issues that require you to disassemble the screen (or get it replaced). I'd try opening it first to see if there is anything loose but most likely you will need an LCD replacement.
