2 dropped IP7 doesnt power on but shows and restores in itunes
this phone was dropped and suddenly turned off, it will not power on, it will not charge, but i can plug into pc, and it shows on itunes, while its on itunes the screen and phone look turned off, the vibrate flicker doesnt vibrate when silent is selected, no life at all. i restored the phone via itunes and it restored successfully, but once removed it is dead, no power at all, nothing displayed, no vibration and no LED.
any ideas here? seems something has been dislodged from motherboard, any ideas what could cause this issue?

ok, il check the torch method, im pretty sure its a board issue, my question would be what on the board may cause these symtoms? i will admit i have not tried the light on screen yet, huge oversight by me

hard to tell without testing but its easier to change to screen before removing the board first. check the battery connection aswell

hi, so i did the torch on screen and the screen has nothing at all, no signs of life.
i dont want to give up here as its immaculate and the 128gb model so not cheap enough to throw out, would love to pick the brains of a microsoldering guy,
to add to this, i tried to connect to itunes and it was dead, so i let it charge overnight and sure enough its connecting again, so the phone itself is good, its just something on the board preventing the display working, or preventing it from booting, the phone does not vibrate when i use the silent rocker button but then again i didnt try that until i had restored through itunes and i dont think they do vibrate until past the setup menu
