No volume when playing videos
Folks
Phone sounds when ringing, but when I try to play a video their is no sound, this is started today with my customer..i figure it could have been a faulty speaker?.
Any ideas?

It likely isnt a faulty speaker if it works when ringning. I would suspect a software issue. Take a full backup, and then restore the device. Try setting up as a new iPhone first, and then restoring with the customers data

do you mean a factory reset or full reset??
With Iphone will I have to log on to itunes etc.. and re register usernames and passwords?

Yes, take a backup and then do a full factory reset. Check if the sound works, and then restore the backup :-) You will likely need the customers icloud details
In the end it was just a dusty jack port after it was cleaned the audio was restored :):)
