Recovering data from DFU mode?

A while ago, my iphone 6 got stuck in a boot loop, and no matter what wouldn’t get out of it. I believe that it went into recovery mode, and was unable to get it out of recovery mode, so in an attempt to fix it, my dad put my phone in DFU mode. I’ve since got better phone (not apple this time) and have tried to get my data back from my old iphone.

I’ve tried all the tips on getting the phone out of DFU mode, and I can’t seem to do it. About the only option left is to factory reset it. From my understanding of data recovery and deleting data, it’s never truly gone until it’s overwritten, so could I just try to restore the phone and do nothing with it but try to read the deleted data? Are there any good programs, I’ve found stuff like “PhoneRescue” but none of them really seem that legit. Is there software that I can use to find the data after it’s deleted?

If there’s any easy hardware fixes too, I’m willing to try them, I’ve opened up the phone and checked if anything looks off, but I can try to do a bit of amateur fixes.

I just want to get some of the recent photos off of it because they were from my vacation.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

You can’t recover data unless you manage to get the iPhone booting properly. If you can’t get the iPhone out of recovery or Dfu mode that means you likely have a hardware issue that should be taken care of. Without any iPhone history it’s impossible to suggest anything reasonable and a successfull restore would wipe your data for good anyway. If you had an iCloud automatic backup you may try logging into iCloud with your Apple ID to recover whatever you need, otherwise the best you can do is finding a good technician who can try fix the iPhone at least partially to try to recover your data.

That sucks, I've already checked iCloud and it didn't update because it was full. I've looked into my logic board harder, and it seems that the gyroscope chip is slightly askew, could that be an issue? Would it be a stretch to try to heat it up and orient it back to normal?

Thanks again for the help!

@lego_rocket Hard to tell how it goes without seeing what you see..if you can post a picture it might help. I'm wondering how an IC would be out of place without the board having reached solder melting point..unless someone has been working on it before ?

Sorry for the late reply, but here is a link to the photos I took: https://imgur.com/a/yXqIF2z

Not really sure if anything else is wrong, but it would be really nice to get the data off of it.

Thanks for all the help!

@lego_rocket Well, wouldn't be surprised there would be shorts there under U2203, but I can see a few components missing even with naked eye..the board has been through a bit. Don't know exactly what to advice here as one shorted line would be enough to prevent the phone from booting.

Thanks for the help anyway. Guess I probably won't be able to get that fixed. At least it will make for a good display piece.
