Can I use the glass and battery from a mini 2 on a mini 1

I recently found a iPad mini 1 in a recycling center. The battery is a bit bloated and the glass is cracked. Can I use the glass and battery from a mini 2 to fix the mini 1? I dont need the LCD just the glass. Thanks!
