1 Where can I buy vibration motors for my DualShock 3 at?
One of my vibration motor wires broke and I need to get a new one. So, I need to figure out if I can fix the wire or where to buy a new one. One of these answers works for me.

Can you add a picture of how the wire broke. Did it break off at the circuit board or at the motor housing? They are available on ebay from China, but unless the wire broke off at the motor housing there is probably no need to buy a new motor since it could be re-soldered or a small piece of wire could be spliced onto the old wire to make it long enough to reach the solder pad on the board.

If you are really good with a soldering iron you may be able to fix the broken wire by splicing the broken wire back together, but otherwise you are probably going to need a new motor. eBay does sell vibrate motors for xbox controllers that I have seen some people claim are compatible. However one of the best ways to make sure a vibrate motor is compatible would be to buy a broken controller offline that is the same model as the one you have and salvage the motor from it. I tried finding PS3 specific motors on both eBay and aliexpress, but had no success.
