Buttons not working and keeps turning itself on and off

So the JBL Charge 3 says that it’s water proof so I decide to take it to the pool with me. It gets accidentally knocked into the pool and now all the buttons don’t work, it keeps turning itself on and off, and when it is on, pressing any button will just light up the pairing button
