Warranty on replacement I received from ifixit?

The screen replacement I received is cracked. Is there a warranty on it?

Did this screen arrive broken or did you break it during installation or after the fact? According to their FAQ, if it arrived broken…:

iFixit reserves the right to send a replacement. Refunds or returns are only available for orders that have been received undamaged. We are not able to provide a refund for parts damaged in shipping.

You can contact iFixit via email here with the following information:

If you suspect that your package has been damaged in shipping, please file a damaged-in-shipping claim by emailing us with photos of the damage, all received items, all interior packing materials, as well as the packaging that the item arrived in. Be sure to include your order number in the email.

They may require you to return the damaged screen, so don’t throw it away!

If you damaged the screen before, during, or after installation:

We can’t cover user error. If you break a part during installation, we can’t replace it. If you accidentally damage the part after installation, we cannot replace it. Additionally, if you destroy a tool or tool roll due to misuse, we can’t replace it.

iFixit is not responsible for any damage to your device due to improper installation or accidental damage. This includes data loss.
