New 2DS XL is not turning on, just when its on the charger

hey guys, my New 2DS XL is having some problems to turn on, just when I put the charger in it he turns the yellow light, and after it i push the powet button (sometimes it turns on, sometimes not). It’s very boring because when i’m not in home, without the charger i cant play. Do you might know what is happening? this happen with someone too?
