Does it still need reflowing?
I've done reflows before with black screens but does this one need a reflow as well?

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if it is showing the same anomaly.
Was it doing this before installing Mojave? Try doing from an external drive with a lower system like El Capitan.
UPDATE
Reseat the display cable and check for any corrosion

I used an external monitor and the display there looks fine. I also have el captan installed and the display is still purple. Anything else I can try?
If the external is correctly showing the image then the internal display needs replacing.
If the display data cable is good, Dan is correct, the display is kaput.
