Won't finish updating firmware

Basically, I turned it on. I turned on the WiFi. I started a firmware update. It's showing a black screen, with a ring in the middle. Along with a loading bar that says “installing system update". Every time the bar fills, it resets. Shows the RCA logo screen. And goes, right back to updating. I can't click on anything. And it's been about, 13 or so hours. Any suggestions, on what I should do?

It seems like you have something you shouldn't on the device. Bad app, virus, malware, etc. A normal update won't cause problems, even if you don't install it. Try starting up in "Safe Mode" and see if it happens in there. If it is one of those problems, it shouldn't happen when in that mode. You will then have to remove whatever is the cause to resolve the problem.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.

Hope this will help you.

@Susan Jackson A reboot loop can be a result of various issues, including corrupted drivers, faulty hardware, and malware infection, among others. Make sure troubleshoot everything. Or kindly check out the post. https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitio...
