When the power button is clicked, the noise beeps like it is turning on and then followed by a high pitched screech and then it will turn off shortly after. the tv shows nothing other than a trouble shoot page and occasionally nothing, I've tried, plugging and unplugging, factory resets and nothing works

ok so, i hate being the one to admit this… but this happened to me before, but i caused it. Does the sound (sound) like its coming from where the fan is? Like maybe a mechanical screech? If so, its the fan hitting something inside. What i had to do was remove the casing (dont do this unless youre ok with voiding your warranty) and kind of bend the metal around it back into its original position.

Your vents might need cleaning. You can use a Compressed Air Canister, or just a simple vacuum. That fixed close to the same issue on one of my Xbox 360s.
