Screen keeps going black but watch still has plenty of charge

I have a Moto 360 2nd generation smart watch. After I wear my watch for a short period of time the screen goes black and I can't bring it back. The second I put it on the charging dock it comes right on and shows that it still has plenty of charge. What's going on?
