Large bright spot on my 6s screen

When I turned the phone on this morning a large bright spot appeared. The touchscreen also stoped working. But after restarting it the touchscreen started working. The bright spot didn't go away

Your battery could potentially be expanding and pushing up on the screen, causing the bright spot. The first thing I would do is open it up and see if anything has physically damaged the screen.
