What RAM Memory i need for HP EliteBook 8440p?
i have only 2 GB RAM in it an i would update to 4 GB RAM.

Click on “HP EliteBook 8440p” just under the small picture at right of question page. Then click on “Service guide” at bottom of page (scroll down). Go to page 4-16 in table of content. Bob’s your uncle.

Also looks like the builtin ram is under the keyboard and harder to reach but if you upgrade both you can get 8gb total.

You can upgrade it at 16 GB of ram. Personal I use 2x8 GB ram " integral" 1.35v and he work absolutely fine
