Looks like it is an issue with the charging system, could be as simple as dirty contacts on the robot and the dock.

  1. Check the contacts on the charger and roomba
  2. Remove battery and clean contacts there
  3. There is a software issue (hold CLEAN to factory reset)
  4. There is a hardware issue (get it repaired or replaced)

It was not charging, cleaned it but still wouldn't charge, bought another battery, worked until the battery went dead but now won't charge up. I'm now getting a ERR 5. Is it a wrong battery 14.4 v.
