How do I install a new window regulator on a 2006 s80/ drivers door.?

The first step is to unhook your negative battery cable. Using painter’s tape, tape the window glass to the door frame to hold it in place. Next you will need to remove the inner door panel to access the regulator. Unfortunately Volvo rivets their regulators into place making them a pain to replace. You’ll have to drill out the rivets and either replace them with new rivets or I recommend replacing them with nuts and bolts. I found this guide online which includes a diagram of the rivets.
