My tv wont turn on. Standby light stays on

My Samsung tv wont turn on. I have tried doing the method you said but unfortunately does not work. The standby light stays on. Once I plug the power cord in the light blinks ONCE and then stays red the whole time. I really don't know what to do , I also don't have a remote
