iPad mini screen issues, fixable or scrap?

Hello,

I’m wondering if anyone can help me diagnose what is actually wrong with my iPad mini before I research how best to fix it.

It started to get a grey line on the left hand side of the screen a few months ago and has steadily gotten worse.

Now if I leave my iPad on standby or when the battery is low the grey lines increase and also the image flickers. This can be solved by turning the brightness to full but once again appears when in standby mode.

I’ve attached pictures to try and show the problem. I’m assuming it’s the lcd display but the problem also gets much worse once the battery gets lower?

Any help would be great to see whether it’s worth fixing or scrapping.

i need help with this too it’s annoying me and i feel like i did this and like its my fault i feel guilty please tell me what to do i’m scared

Yes I would think it is you Display

This would in my view be the first think to work on by testing it with a know good one

Did you fix it in the end? This has been happening to me on my iPad Mini 4 for months now and nobody believes me because it comes and goes as the battery lowers, like you said. Really starting to annoy me now.
