Too slow when booting and using applications

My MacBook Air 2017 suddenly started to lag . Tried the PRAM and SMC reset. Works the same way in safe boot and the problem is still occurring after doing factory reset over 3 times.

You appear to have upgraded to macOS Catalina 10.15. Did you make sure you’ve applied all of the updates? Apple did have some issues with the first release. You do appear to still have a lot of 32 bit apps which you’ll need to remove.

At this point I would run Disk Utility to check the drive. Frankly, I don’t find Etre that useful when looking for performance issue related to hardware and/or OS.

Dan, this problem has been occurring prior to macOS Catalina update.

I have a previous question. if you can help me out.

you recommended me a TG pro

Takes over 2 minutes to boot up, lagging while opening apps .

I think your best solution is to wipe the drive completely and re-install macOS. You do appear to have a few extra partitions which you shouldn't need.

I wonder if you are facing a rogue application or process which you haven't isolated out. It could even be malware or spyware. You do have a few processes which I have no idea what they are doing here.

But yet again, I haven't played with Catalina yet as I can't alter my systems as I still use 32bit apps. Sometime next year I likely will make the leap (may even get a new system). Until then I have no answer for you.

Dan.. Thank you for helping me out.

This problem has been occurring before I updated to Catalina. I have wiped the drive clean more than 10 times.

This is a new question for my previous problem I addressed in Takes over 2 minutes to boot up, lagging while opening apps ..

You even tried to help me by telling me to dry out my laptop.

Yes, I checked out what I had stated before. It's still possible humidity played a role here.

As for Catalina Vs Mojave, the main point is I just don't know all of the processes it has Vs Mojave and as I stated you appear to have extra partitions! Which need to be deleted, re-installing won't fix that and you may have indeed formatted the partition but that didn't remove the extra partitions. The only way I know of to do this is to boot up under an external drive and running Disk Utility from it Nuking everything and then rebuilding the drive.

Thank you for your time and you help.

I am not a techie by any means , but can you explain me thi parts from etre report that what are other processes?
