Repair information for the fall 2018 addition to the ASUS ROG Zephyrus lineup. This is a high-end gaming laptop in the thinnest frame for those specs at the time. Model number: GX531GS-AH76.

Just wondering if you have replaced the thermal paste in yours yet?

If so, did you notice any temp difference and any performance difference?

Also under the heatsink was there any thermal pads?

Yes, I did end up repasting my laptop. I used Thermal Grizzly Liquid Metal thermal paste and Fujipoly thermal pads. It dropped my temps under load by about 8-10 degrees C. Definitely worth the effort for the performance boost over stock paste and pads.
