Door bell wiring new lighted plaque
connected a lighted address plaque to my door bell wires. Plaque lights but when I push doorbell button plaque goes out and chime does not work.

You maybe trying to do too much with the single doorbell transformer. You could have mis-wired things. Here’s how I would wire it:
