My 2DS screen won’t turn on or off

So I accidentally left my 2DS in sleep mode and when I opened it, it was working absolutely fine. It then asked for a system update and I did, but then directly after the update, the screen just turned black. The lights on the bottom signify it’s still on, but when I press the off button it won’t even turn off and the blue light still remains. Help?
