Battery Changing Heating and Camera issues

I just recently got my phone's battery changed. After that I noticed that battery sometimes drops it's level while on charge for seconds and then it starts to charge again like normal. Also the phone is getting burning hot on mid to top right. The more the processor activity the more it gets hot. Just noticed camera is not showing anything to capture. Opening the camera front/back only shows black screen.

P. S. The service provider removed double tape under battery and didn't put it back in. Instead used some glue solution.

From experience it’s very likely that when one of the cameras fail which it’s either the front or back camera as when you see a black screen of both. A lot of the time it is actually one of the cameras that have failed and is causing the other to not work. When one does fail they sometimes cause a short-circuit which causes the phone to heat up at that particular spot and cause rapid battery drain.

A way to get this tested out is to unplug one of the cameras first to rule it out. If still same problem, plug the one you just unplugged back in and unplug the other one. If either camera starts working then you know which camera to get replaced.

Here is a guide for them. My bet it’s the front camera as a lot of time sometimes this gets ripped by mistake because of how short the cable is.

Gluing the battery is not the problem. During charging apple makes your iPhone to cloud synced. So usually updates and sync happens when charging and connected to wifi. If this happens when you have kept it airplane mode charging, then it is a bit worrying. Post your result.

As far as camera is concerned, if you got DIY stuff remove the camera and attach again.

Keep it in airplane mode and charge your iPhone and check for the heating issue.
