Why is my web browser freezing?

Why is my web browser freezing?

I use search on new playstation home page and it freezes and I cant turn ps3 off except switching it off at the wall. I also have another problem using just searching a video on you tube using the web browser

I have the latest update.How do you restore the playstation 3 without losing trophies, save files and games I have downloaded from psn?

Hi!

Did you synced your PS3 with your PSN account? If yes, you should have your trophies available anytime. Regarding your save data, you have multiple options left! You can back-up them to a USB drive, only the save files which are not protected. Or you can buy PSN Plus, so you can upload them to the cloud (even the protected save files) and retrieve them whenever you want (protected save files - once a day). Games that you have downloaded from the store (or bought) will always be available on your account. So you can restore your PS3 anytime. Make sure that your save data is in the cloud and so for the trophies before you format your drive.
